A poetic and photographic biography related as a history of Christmases from the magic and joy of my very early years to the present. The images are mostly abstracts and tight close-ups of Christmas trees, ornaments, wrapping paper, presents, bows, lights, various Santa Clauses, and a few people.
     The Xmas Kid is the story of my life as it occurred from Christmas to Christmas, from home and cradle to Vietnam, from innocence and health to cynicism and cancer.
     Although I am a practicing Anarchosolipsist and Non-Christian, Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. I am an enthusiastic practitioner of a secular and humanistic Christmas. In the end it is simple human caring, common decency and ordinary love that saves us.
     Beware of gods offering salvation. They wear checkered suits and have your best interests at heart, whether you like it or not.
     We are better served when we search deep into the rubble of ourselves, find a long forgotten present wrapped in dusty paper and faded ribbon. We open it up and find a mirror. Surprise, we are each and every one the promised god.
