WINDLASS - JEFF RADOS 4th PLACE - GIL KNUDSON TROPHY CRUISING CLASS SPINNAKER YACHT on CORRECTED TIME SBYRC's Treasurer Marylyn Hoenemeyer and Hospitality Chair, Laura Lewis won the women's grinder contest at the pre-race party! SBYRC also awarded the trophy to the Yacht Club with the Most Entries. This year's award was presented to Dana Point Yacht Club with 37 entries. Check out the NOSA site for more info.

Please join us in welcoming the following members to the club and out on the race course. Ralph Stewart, who races his Cal 20 "Freya" in MDR, with his partner Robert Bates, another recent SBYRC member. Jeffry Rados, who moors his Ericson 35 "Windlass" in King Harbor, competing principally in point to point PHRF races. Per Curtiss, a former member of WYC who owns a Merit 25 named Footloose. Per is interested in serving on Race Committee and would be willing to have his boat used as a ChaseBoat or Race Committee Boat. Stewart Rembertowns a Catalina 34' named Nepenthe which he races locally. He has also won the Ironman Regatta raced in Sabots for the past three years. Stewart is willing to help on race committee. David Santangelo who was referred by SBYRC member Bob Huckaby works for Catalina Yachts and owns a Catalina 30' named Windsong which he moors in MDR. |
