Thank you for your interest in joining South Bay Yacht Racing Club. Membership applications are reviewed at our regularly scheduled Board meetings which are held each month except July, August and December. Applications can be reviewed on an expedited basis for an additional $25 if your racing plans require immediate yacht club affiliation. Currently, our initiation fee is $60 and our annual dues are $50; additionally, we suggest a voluntary $10 contribution to Recreational Boaters of California (RBOC), a lobbying group whose primary objective is to work directly with government on the national, state and local levels to protect and enhance the interests of recreational boaters. Should you decide to join, please send a check payable to SBYRC for the appropriate amount along with the completed form to the address on the top of the application. Any questions can be directed to our Membership Director, Ann Tritsch, at 310-578-9987.

I will race in a sportsmanlike manner. I further agree to serve on Race, Protest, or other Special Committees at least once per year. I understand my membership may be terminated at any time by the Board of Directors if my actions in any way compromise the Officers, Directors, or Members of South Bay Yacht Racing Club. Prior to such termination, I will receive a hearing before the Board.
